Ichiro, Shiori, town and Fumio After the weather ruined their plans last time, it’s time for a trip to the zoo!

So, as we saw in the previous episode, the weather thwarted the gang’s plans to go to the zoo. But now the skies are clear and they decide to start their trip in this episode! There is definitely a healthy vibe in the air, with Machi and Fumio enjoying looking at different animals, and Ichiro and Shiori spending some time with each other talking about their newfound relationship. They’re clearly not over the “shy in front of each other” phase yet, but they’ll get there.

Finally, the two of them have a moment alone without babysitting. Shiori questioned Ichiro and asked him if he would hold hands to keep me glued to the screen seriously (they had to hold hands while watching the giraffe, that part was pretty important). This trip to the zoo really strengthened my belief that these two would make a really nice little family with Machi and Fumio. I hope that’s what the series is about and it goes down to one of the best endings ever!

So let’s get this straight – Shiori sees Ichiro sleeping and her first thought is to ask if he can touch his neck? I guess everyone has their own minds and poking their cheeks when they have a cold makes a difference. Jokes aside, it’s great to see the beginning of what I hope will be many cute moments between these two.
