The Delta Police Command arrested a 34-year-old woman, Queen Uwagbogu, for allegedly selling AK-47 ammunition.
Agents of Crack Squad apprehended the suspect in the Delta State using one hundred (100) rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition.
State Police Commissioner DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the arrest in a statement on his verified Twitter handle on Monday, May 22.
Uwagbogu was arrested on the basis of “actionable intelligence” and “an ongoing investigation,” he said.
Eddafi wrote; “The command’s crack squad arrested a 34-year-old Queen Uvagbogu in Evren in Evren based on credible intelligence. She was involved in the illegal sale of AK47 ammunition. She is currently in custody and investigations are ongoing. “
