Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi is offering a free medical camp for her homies to celebrate her birthday.
This she announced through her social media on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
She says the gesture is to express her love and compassion for the place and people that hold her dearest memories.
The spouse to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was born in a village called Ndunyu ya Chege, Gatanga Constituency in Murang’a County.
“As I celebrate another year of life, my heart is full of gratitude for the experiences the LORD has granted me. On this special day, I wish to thank God and Kenyans for the opportunity to serve. Again, because God saw it fit for the community of Ndunyu ya Chege, Gatanga Constituency, to be my place of birth and the home where I spent my childhood years. It is my joy to celebrate this birthday by offering a free medical camp, as a gesture of love and compassion for the place and people that hold my dearest memories,” she wrote.
Mrs Rigathi is an award-winning champion of the boy child and last month she was feated during the Africa Public Sector Awards and Conference Awards (APSCA) 2023 held in Nairobi.
Pastor Dorcas was honoured with the ‘Outstanding Catalyst in Vulnerable Empowerment Award’ for her efforts to empower the boy child and work with widows, orphans, and people with disabilities in Kenya.
