Popular Fuji guru Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, has revealed why he refused to kiss his wife at his 66th birthday party.

Recall that a few days ago, singer KWAM 1 and his wife Emmanuella shut down social media and posted photos and videos of KWAM 1’s 66th birthday.

However, singer KWAM 1 made a scene where he refused to kiss his wife publicly. The move sparked a discussion online that the couple’s marriage may be falling apart.

However, in the latest statement issued and signed on behalf of K1 by Kunle Rasheed, one of the singer’s band members, they debunked the news of the breakdown of their marriage and explained why KWAM 1 did not kiss his wife.

The statement reads;

“Once again we have noticed another round of unofficial and unreliable information that K1 de Ultimate Yorubaland’s Mayegun doesn’t love his darling wife and so refused her a kiss at his surprise birthday gig at the Radisson Blu all weekend.

“These rumormongers who have turned the mundane into something they feel in their delusions should be celebrating and spreading benefits that we don’t understand.

“Unfortunately, these rumormongers who only thrive on negativity should be able to see through their hatred that love has indeed found a permanent place in this couple’s heart.”

“Rashid said that K1 and Emmanuelah are deeply in love with each other and those who wait to rejoice at any bad news about the couple should understand that.
