Big Brother Naija 2021 winner Hazel Onou better known as White Money has revealed why he has yet to open a walk-in restaurant in Nigeria.
He said it took 650 million naira to set up and run a standard restaurant and he didn’t have that much money.
The reality star revealed the news in an interview with The Honest Bunch podcast, co-hosted by Nedu, Toun, Naomi and Husband Material.
White Money said financial need is why he has not yet fulfilled his dream of owning a brick-and-mortar restaurant, noting that he has not been able to raise the money on his own.
When the anchor asked him to collect funds from supporters, he replied that it was impossible to donate N650m
He said; “You and I both know that one of the reasons I don’t have a walk-in restaurant is because the cost of opening a restaurant is close to 650 million naira and I can’t do it all by myself.”
Nedu and his co-hosts then suggested he ask BBNaija stars like himself who bought a Range Rover.
White Money’s response surprised them as he said they shouldn’t believe everything they read on social media.
“So fans are donating 650 million naira for you? Don’t believe everything you read on the internet,” said the BBNaija alumnus.
