Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, former roommate of Big Brother Naga’s seventh season, clarified that her comment about co-worker Adekunle owed his mother an apology was not an insult to his mother.
Ngnews247 reported that Doyin said in Episode 6 of the “Level Up” reunion show that aired on Monday night that Adekunle “owes his mom an apology for throwing her homework in the gutter”.
Her statement sparked a backlash on social media, with many accusing her of involving Adekunle’s mother in their quarrel.
However, Doyin responded via her Twitter account on Tuesday morning, clarifying that her comments on the show were not an insult to Adekunle’s mother, as many suggested.
She said her comment meant that Adekunle’s mom had trained him well, but he had neglected training; therefore, he owed her an apology.
The reality star urged those who misunderstood her to return to English classes.
“I never insulted his mom,” Doin wrote. My words were “he owes his mom an apology for throwing her house training down the gutter.” That is, she trained him and he Neglected training, so he owes her an apology.
“If English is your problem, this is a great opportunity to go back to school.”
