In recommending her for the position, the committee chaired by Robert Pukose considered the nominee suitable for the position of PS in Health Standards and Professional Administration.
It noted that she has extensive knowledge and experience in the operation and management of health affairs.
“The nominee’s knowledge and understanding of health topics is exemplary, although her strengths are believed to be in the academic and day-to-day administrative processes,” it further states.
Mburu is focusing on achieving universal health coverage (UHC) within the next five years.
