Babajid Sanwo-Oglu, the incumbent governor of Lagos State and candidate for the governorship of the National Progressive Congress, won in the voting group of President-elect Asivaju Bola Tinnub.
Turnout among voting groups was low, with only 50 of the 324 registered voters turning out to vote.
Sanwo-Oglu got 43 votes, while his strongest opponent Badbo Roz-Wiver got 5 votes and the National Salvation Movement got 1 vote.
The APC candidate also defeated Gbadebor Rhodes-Vivor and the state’s other gubernatorial candidates by a landslide in his voting unit.
