After watching the first four episodes, I was looking forward to another exhilarating experience, and this one didn’t disappoint. The show always captivates me with the surprise and humor of each episode.
The episode features a unique drug that enhances magic. Otaku Hero urges the magical girls to embark on a journey to Shibuya to find their partner “Chogo Master”, despite the presence of dangerous SSCs in the area.
US Weeb’s Markus was a great addition, but I doubted he would betray them, and unfortunately, I was right. However, unexpectedly, he was coerced by Xiaoben, who had captured his daughter. Hopefully Marcus can redeem himself in future episodes, I think he really adds to the show and I’d love to see him again.
Chogo Master is an interesting character, and the gang’s efforts to acquire a doll for an old man turn into a nightmare for Kyo. Pink’s addiction to the Master Chogo substance is hilarious. It’s interesting how similar the characters are to the girls and how they immediately get thrown in the trash, maybe that’s a clue of what’s to come with the girls in the future.
Despite the obstacles, the magical girls are given potions that increase their powers in due course. Although I don’t quite believe it all.
As the end of this evaluation, I have to say that the first mecha scene in this episode, as well as the train scene that is completely like Evangelion, are top-notch!
