Lee had a very successful amateur career with some of his amateur career highlights including winning the 2013 Drummond Junior, 2014 Drummond Junior, 2015 Western Australian Amateur Championship, Drummond Junior, Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship, 2016 US Junior Amateur Championship, 2017 Western Championships Australian Amateur and 2018 South Australian Amateur Classic.
