In the first episode, titled “How Poopy Got His Poop Back,” the Smith family is forced to deal with an unwanted houseguest, Mr. Poopybutthole, who has overstayed his welcome after being left with no place to go. Poopy has been crashing with the Smiths for a little longer than expected following a series of unfortunate events, including being shot by Beth (watch the Season 6 recap if you need a refresher). There will be some new voice actors on the show. Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland is no longer involved with the series after multiple allegations of inappropriate and abusive behavior behind the scenes, but that shouldn’t have a huge impact on the characters, voice acting or production, according to showrunners. Per co-creator Dan Harmon, Roiland’s role in production of the show hasn’t extended beyond his voice acting for the past several seasons.
