Takeshi Reincarnation: Unemployed Reincarnation yes official english name Takeshi Reincarnation: Another World – Tara Motoki Osu. This is episode 06 of the second part of the first season.
In the last episode, Rudy got a brutal reality check from Paul and wondered what the hell had happened the past year and a half. After a violent argument with his father, Eris comforts him in the hotel.
This episode, we’ll probably have some sort of redemption between Rudy and Paul. Hopefully we get a glimpse of what the Roxy is doing, or where Zenith is headed.
content
This episode, we first follow Paul in the immediate aftermath of the Mana Cataclysm. He’s holding the norn, which is likely why they end up in the same place. He was utterly bewildered, and could see nothing around him but the green plain. He picked a direction and started walking.
We see a small clip in the intro about how he took care of Norn during this time. When it was over, Paul was busy drinking to death in the tavern when my hero Keith walked in.

Geese listened to Paul tell his troubles, but didn’t reveal that it was Rudy who saved him from the Beastkin. In fact, Geese didn’t reveal that he knew Rudy at all. Instead, he tells Paul that he has ridiculous expectations of Rudy, since it’s nearly impossible for anyone to make it across the Devil’s Land, even with Spade. This sequence really pissed me off, but I’ll explain in the comments section.

However, Geese does raise a very good point: what does Paul expect? A kid with glassy eyes and missing body parts? Is this what he wants? That night, Paul remembered the image and became terrified. He decided to make up with Rudy the next day.

He meets Rudy in a bar with Rijeld and Alice. They left so that Paul and Rudy could have time alone. Rudy doesn’t look Paul in the eye until the bartender suggests he do, seeing how hard and hurt Paul looks as he tries to apologize. Rudy forgave Paul and told him he was right, giving him a big hug and choosing to pretend their spat yesterday never happened. Paul broke down, sobbing violently, holding Rudy tightly.

The two are now fully reconciled, although Eris has yet to forgive Paul. Rudy tells Eris that her father, Ghislaine and grandfather have not been found, so they may be dead. Alice was very pleased with the news. Anyway, Rudy got an item from Paul that will make it easier for them to get through the port, so they’ll leave Millis the next morning.
Opinion/Analysis
The reason I hate the scene where Paul talks to Geese is because Geese keeps emphasizing that Rudy is a kid and Paul expects too much. Rudy is not a child, and no one knows that but us.
Geese also tells Paul that Rudy might sound happy when he recounts his adventures so as not to worry Paul – but in reality, we know he didn’t think about it at all, and he was really having fun during that time.
Paul forgave Rudy for these false excuses, much to my dismay.
However, I really liked that they showed Paul as a vulnerable man and father. I love how series make men sad and vulnerable on camera!
