Takeshi Tensei: Unemployed Reincarnation yes official english name Takeshi Reincarnation: Another World – Tara Motoki Osu. This is Episode 07 of Season 1 Part 2.
The episode opens with Rudy, Ellis, and Rujed leaving Millis. On the way, Rajed got into arguments with many people before boarding the ship. The sea is very unstable, and Eris is sick – just like last time – but Rudy is also feeling very ill. Rajed feels fine.
We cut to Roxy, who’s in a meeting with Nocopala — who’s trying to blackmail “Dead End.” We learn that Roxy and Nokopala actually had a party together a long time ago and are the only two still alive.
Nokopara asked Roxy if she had met her parents and she said no. Nokopala is a little upset with her, explaining that he’s settled down with his wife and kids since they stopped adventuring together, and even since getting burned by “Dead End” he’s been behaving at his best. He told her she should see her parents because she was crazy if she thought they didn’t want to see her.
Well, Roxy did visit her village again, and we discovered an important thing about her – all the Migudian tribes can use telepathy, but Roxy cannot. She saw flashes and clicks, but couldn’t make out any of them. Her hometown just brought back painful memories of being shunned for not having the ability.
She went to her parents’ house and they were shocked and surprised to see her, but still very happy. Her father did not hug her. Roxy’s mother told her to stay as long as she wanted, but Roxy said she’d better leave. Her mother started crying.
Roxy sat in silence for a while before realizing how hard it must have been for her parents when Roxy ran away from her village without telling them. Roxy’s mother said she didn’t know if she would ever see Roxy again. Roxy also started crying and hugging her mom. She spent the night at her parents’ house.
The next morning, she spoke to her parents, who told her Rudy had visited them two years ago. Yes, it has been 2 years. Now convinced that Rudy is safe, Roxy decides to go find Lilia, Zenith, and Elsa elsewhere in Demonland.
She also walks into Enaris again and sleeps with people.
Opinion/Analysis
Last episode we saw Rudy mending his relationship with his father, and now we see Roxy. I’m glad we see this happen, don’t get me wrong, but I wish they would space out the episodes a bit more instead of having 2 parent episodes one after the other.
Regardless, it’s cool to see how Roxy explains telepathy. The animation is very cool visually.
I just wish Roxy mentioned how she felt at one point not being able to talk to other people. I’m sure she mentioned this to her parents when she was a kid, but it would be nice if viewers could hear how she felt.
Otherwise – pretty good episode!
