A Nigerian man named Kolawole Abiodun Abayomi described how he fell victim to a travel scam orchestrated by his wife’s family.
Arrangements were made with a travel agency that pretended to help many people emigrate, he said.
According to Kolawole, the agent was invited by his wife’s family and presented evidence of how he obtained passports and visas for those who wanted to go to “Japan”.
He said he believed it was all true because it was his in-laws who made the arrangements, and he trusted him so much that he involved his sister, who lives in Qatar.
The man wrote; “My wife’s family brought a man and showed me different evidence that he did differentiate travel passports and visas, I believe they thought it was my wife’s family and we started all program, I even included my sister wey dey Qatar, she decided to do it herself”
