A man who identified himself as Kenneth was recently arrested by agents of the Kaduna State Police Command for the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Ebenezer Agaba, 27.
The suspect hacked to death the recent graduate nurse with a machete for allegedly plotting to dump him for another man after claiming to spend money for her.
The command’s spokesman, DSP Mohammed Jalige, said the suspect was arrested in a planned mob operation which could have resulted in his death.
Meanwhile, pictures of the slain woman have emerged and friends and former course partners have been mourning Ebenezer, from Oukpa, Benue state, since the incident.
The suspect is understood to be a tailor, also from Oukpa but residing in Makuldi, Benue state.
