A popular Ibadan radio presenter named Baba Bintin reportedly collapsed and died on his way to his office.
Crew members of Fresh FM in Oyo state are said to have collapsed while trekking to work on Saturday morning.
Vanguard reported that ace radio twins Komolafe Olaiya and Olalomi Amole announced Baba Bintin’s tragic death during a radio show.
The radio presenter had earlier raised concerns about the show because the older radio personality was unusually late.
However, before the show ended, Komolafe and Olalomi announced that Baba Bintin had died while trekking from Amuloko to Fresh FM in Challenge, hoping to get cash through a POS terminal.
A witness who spoke to the station said they found him passed out on the way and took him to UCH University College Hospital, but he was certified dead on arrival.
