An African-American man serving a prison sentence has recently tied the knot with his girlfriend in a courtroom wedding, causing an uproar online.
He applied to correctional authorities to allow the two of them to have a courtroom wedding, which was granted.
In a video circulating on social media, the inmate can be seen exchanging vows with his lover and agreeing to become husband and wife.
It is understood they began dating before he was sent to prison for a felony, and he decided to make their union official so she could remain loyal to him until his release.
He was dragged into the courtroom in a steel cage in prison uniform so that there would be no physical contact between them.
