RCB bring in Jadav as replacement for Willie injury

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed Kedar Jadhav as David Wiley’s injured replacement for the remainder of the 2023 IPL.

Wiley has returned to England after hitting a toe in RCB’s home game against Kolkata Knights on Wednesday. RCB said on his media channel Social that he had a broken toe and Willie had a strained adductor muscle.

Jadhav, 38, was a popular IPL cricketer until a few years ago but has no chance of playing for the 2022 season and was unsold at the recent auction. Since his debut in 2010, his many teams in the IPL include RCB, Chennai’s Super Kings, Delhi’s Capitals, Coach’s Tuskers Kerala, Sunrisers’ Hyderabad. Jadhav was traded from Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils) in 2016 and 2017, where he made 17 appearances for RCB.
