The shooting of 17-year-old Nahel by a police officer sparked a week of unrest in France, with out-of-context videos on social media purporting to show devastation in the southern city of Marseille. In particular, Internet users claimed that the city’s Alcazar library was burned down by mobs, even though our fact checks showed a completely different location.
