Nigerian pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, known professionally as “Portable,” bought a portrait of President Bola Tinubu to show he was a patriot.
The street performer from Ogun state also bought a portrait of the state’s governor, Dabo Abiodun.
“That’s my president and governor,” Portable said.
He bought both works for 5,000 naira each. Portable shared a video of his purchase while stuck in traffic,
According to the Zazuu star, he chose not to haggle after the seller told him the price of the frame.
He gave the salesman 11,500 naira and handed over another sum to two different peddlers who approached him.
They greeted him before leaving, and the singer said he would hang the portraits in his office.
