A Nigerian lesbian couple, Elizabeth Ekpo and Krystle Ekpo, tied the knot in a United Church and traditional wedding ceremony in the United States of America.
It is understood that the two ladies have been dating for a long time and finally became husband and wife. Both of them are very happy.
Photos of their wedding circulated on social media and sparked discussion.
Sharing some photos on her Facebook page, Elizabeth wrote; “Married to the love of my life.”
The couple, who call themselves Queens of Africa, opened a bottle of wine to applaud their happy married life.
Krystle’s sister Chanda Anderson also took to Facebook to wish them a happy union.
She wrote; “Last weekend my little sister Krystle married the love of her life, Dr. Elizabeth Ekpo, in NOLA. I have another sister Liz♥️.
May you both be happy forever. Congratulations I love you guys forever #marriedtomednola. “
