Vickie Remoe Bio – Vickie Remoe (born Vickie Emma Remoe-Doherty; born 14 November 1984) is a Sierra Leonean entrepreneur, talk show host and author. She is the executive producer and host of The Vickie Remoe Show, which airs on AYV TV. She is the host of the Make Sierra Leone Famous podcast and publisher of Swit Salone.

She was born in Freetown, the coastal capital of Sierra Leone. Her father, Victor Remoe-Doherty, was born in Lagos and was an officer in the Sierra Leone Police Force. Her mother, Nasratha Bakie Remoe-Doherty, is a diplomat in Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Vickie is the youngest of five siblings and the only child of her parents. Vickie’s great-grandfather was JH Doherty, a Lagos merchant prince.

After postgraduate she moved to Accra, Ghana where she worked as a Marketing Consultant for Printex Limited. The Vickie Remoe Show restarted in 2018 on AYV TV after a seven-year hiatus from production. In 2019, the TV show was sponsored by Orange for a new season. An episode of the rebooted season follows teen moms returning to school in Moyamba, southern Sierra Leone. After that season, Vickie was named a female ambassador by Save the Children Sierra Leone.
In 2020, in the early months of the coronavirus pandemic, Vickie raised $60,000 in emergency relief for hospitals in Sierra Leone in three months. During the pandemic, she has published two children’s books, “Adama Loves Akara” and “Ami’s Printables.”
