Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, aka Iyanya, has revealed why he has yet to properly respond to allegations made by Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson in her recently published book.
In the book, the actress claims that Iania cheated on Toto Dick while she was dating her.
The “Kukere” singer said he would be criticized by a lot of people if he told his story.
However, he said he would still tell his story soon, regardless of the backlash his answers would provoke.
The singer tweeted Wednesday: “Are you all waiting for my story? If I talk now, I’ll be accused of kissing, snitching, slut shaming, etc.
But some things have to be given, so wait. “
Iyanya’s tweet came hours after Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie released a new song called “Try Me” in response to Yvonne Nelson’s claim that he drove her to a clinic for an abortion after impregnating her in 2010.
In the song, the rapper debunked the allegations, insisting he opposed Yvonne Nielsen’s decision to have an abortion, but said she couldn’t keep it because she was in school.
Sarkodie admitted he was not ready to be a father at the time, but added that he asked the actress to keep the pregnancy.
