Why Sanwo-Olu Won’t Get Second Term – Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (Video) » Ngnews247

Lagos State Labor Party gubernatorial candidate Badebo Rhodes-Wiver said incumbent Governor Babajid Sanwo-Oglu would not be re-elected.
Sanwo-Oglu, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, cannot win the March 11 gubernatorial election, he said.
According to the MIT grad, the reason the governor will lose in the polls is because he’s running for the same office.
Rhodes-Vivour made this clear when appearing as a guest on the Menisms podcast, also saying he felt bad for Sanwo-Olu because he couldn’t do many of the things he wanted to do because of the structure of his party, the APC.
He said the current governor may have the biggest plans for Lagos, but because of the party structure he is a part of, he cannot accomplish a tenth of them.
The LP guber candidate drew further comparisons to former governor Akinwunmi Ambode, who was elected after only one term for trying to transform Lagos.
To avoid a repeat of his mistakes, Sanwooglu may find himself refraining from doing things that run counter to the party’s wishes, he said.
