Nigerian singer-songwriter Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake, outlines the importance of the Yoruba language in his music.
He claims that he likes to sing in Yoruba because it is widely spoken and understood and it is important to him.
Asake said in a NewsLive Prime interview that he sees music as a feeling and that sometimes people don’t need to understand it to enjoy its use on a smartphone.

“Yoruba is very important to me. For me, the way I understand music is that it’s a feeling”, he said.
