You Failed To Saved Your People – Actor Alex Ekubo Criticises Sanwo-Olu’s Recent Statement » Ngnews247

Nigerian actor Alexx Ekubo shared his two cents on Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s comments that he had no control over the soldiers sent to the Lekki toll gate during EndSARS on October 20, 2020.
The governor has said he was meeting with cabinet members at his residence when the incident happened and had no knowledge of what happened that night.
Sanwo-Olu said; “What happened that night happened. I was at home with some cabinet members when it happened. So we’re out of ideas at all.
“As far as the question they asked, who ordered the shooting. When I went to Magodo the other day, who ordered the CPS not to listen to me. So you can see that in the election last Saturday, the military was better than the police many.
“It’s not in my remit, but if we put it aside for a moment and just do a role play and ask myself what was my behavior before, during and after. I went to every hospital that could take patients that night. I Went out at 12 in the middle of the night, saw it with my own eyes, and at 8:00 am the next morning I reported what I saw. 10:00 am Circumstances may change, but I reported what I saw and I won’t deny me Not seeing what people want me to say.”
Ekubo argued at length that the governor could have done more to protect the people of Lagos State, as Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike did for former NNDC managing director Joy Nunieh in 2016.
The actor wrote; “Personally, I have nothing against SO, but I’m just wondering why we’ve seen him do the actual groundwork and answer questions more in the last few days than in the last 4 years.
His excellence, imagine you coming out days or weeks after #EndSars and giving this heartfelt explanation, it would largely absolve you of the #WhoGaveTheOrder we’ve been asking you for ignoring, It’s pathetic and pathetic that you’re now dealing with this problem 3 years later. Everywhere I go I see you talking, I even saw you in a dream last night explaining something to me.
So, let me remind you the time 2016, Dss from Abuja with police and army besieged and broke into Joy Nunieh (ex MD NDDC) Portharcourt residence, tried to arrest her because she spoke about illegal actions of the committee so many stalking against AKPABIO charge
Wick got in his car as state CEO, the same position you hold, and drove to her house, ordered those people to get out of the car, they couldn’t arrest anyone in his state without his express permission , they should wait for her to enter abuja, they can do whatever they want, but as long as she is in river state, she is his responsibility, he further threatens them, if they don’t back down, he will treat them as teists and enemies of the state, & whatever What they see, they should all collect.
He put the woman in his car and drove to the government building, they were supposed to come and arrest her. My respect for Wick has quadrupled. But then again, that’s old Wick, when Wick was Wick, and now I don’t understand choirmasters again. They all just do it anyway. I’ve seen you a few times, and studied you from a distance. I think you’re a descendant of good intentions, it’s just that circumstances outside of you hinder your better judgement.
Also, let me add that you’re doing you and your campaign more harm than good by saying you can’t control the military and police in the state you’re CEO in. Seriously you say we can see acks like Odi Macre in parts of Lagos, you say, it’s not under your control. So the difference between Odi Macre in 1999 and now is that our parents were scared, our #SoroSoke generation is not! Because why die in silence when you can die screaming.

Finally, if you’re going to stick to the argument that you didn’t give the order, please tell us who did so we can leave you and focus on that person. Please don’t tell me about my dreams in private, I don’t remember my dreams very much, so I’ll tell you here for everyone to witness. Safety. God bless us all”
